Excellence Awards Open

THE Excellence Business Awards Caboolture region are up and away again for 2008 with the launch on Wednesday, June 18 at the Commerce Caboolture monthly dinner.
EBA committee president Bronwen Jackman said nominations had flowed in for the awards, which showcased the depth of professionalism and talented business people in the area.
Previous winners such as Nova Ford's Geoff McKenzie and The Gift Chest's Amanda Coughlan, who are excited about the awards, will be attending. Sponsors for the prestigious awards are platinum: Caboolture News and Bribie Weekly, NAB; gold: Mission Australia; silver: Acclaim Apprentices; bronze: Sunsuper and Sarina Russo, GBS, Worldwide Online Printing, Access Employment Services, Community radio 101.5 and Club Caboolture as well as Commerce Caboolture and Bribie Island Chamber of Commerce, Moreton Bay Regional Council.
Nominations for the awards will close on June 21. Coupons to enter are in the Caboolture News and Bribie Weekly offices and the categories are: community service/non profit org; customer service (junior under 25); customer service senior (over 25); retail business (under 10 employees); retail business (more than 10 employees); franchise, hospitality/tourism; manufacturing/construction, professional/accounting, medical, legal etc; employee of the year; young business person of the year' apprenticeship. traineeship, and awards for the proactive employer supporting a disability; proactive employee working with a disability.
