LIA to Visit new Worldwide Hub
 
LIA to tour: Next Tuesday LIA members have the oportunity to visit the new Worldwide Online print hub in Alexandria
 

The LIA is organising a visit to the new Worldwide Online Printing NSW printing hub, which has a new A1 five colour Ryobi, an A2 four-colour Ryobi and a Kodak CTP as the focal point of the production centre.

The visit is slated for next Tuesday November 13 at 6pm, and is to be followed by a dinner at the nearby Graphic Arts Club.
 

With almost 80 online franchise operations, Worldwide Printing is the fastest growing online print provider in Australia. All print produced at this plant comes to them on line and a round the clock operation provides a two to three day turnaround for the majority of work The national output of the Worldwide Printing franchises last year was 150,000 design and print jobs, with more120 million items delivered

Worldwide's NSW production manager Iain Marshall will lead the tour which will showcase how the online workflow operates from receipt of files to the final finishing and distribution back to the franchisee.
 
The tour group will then make the short trip to the Graphic Arts Club in Mascot for dinner, after which Worldwide's national production manager Chris Eales will outline some of the secrets to the outstanding growth of the company in the ten short years it has been in business, and propose a vision for the on line print business of the future.
