Under Colour Removal (UCR):

The process of substituting the grey or neutral component of a given process colour mix by the equivalent amount of black, but only in the neutral shadow areas of the image.

Under Exposure:

Where insufficient light has been allowed into a film resulting in a loss of brightness and poor detail in shaded areas.

Under-run:

Production of fewer copies than ordered. See Over Run.

Unsupported Foil:

Foil with no backing, paper or otherwise.

Up:

Printing two-up or three-up means printing the identical piece twice or three times on one sheet of paper in one impression.

Upload:

When a modem is used to put a file on a network or online service, the file is loaded on the service. This is done so other people can access the information

UV Coating:

A liquid laminate bonded and cured with ultraviolet light.

Ultra-violet (UV) Drying:
