The Brisbane-wide business has been made an official sponsor of the BMW Zig Zag Charity Ball. The annual black-tie ball, on at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre on May 24, is organised by the Zig Zag Foundation, which raises money for seriously ill children – last year's ball raised $400,000.
The ball traditionally features a raft of local and national celebrities, raffles, auctions and performances. Worldwide Mt Gravatt owner Andrew Pearson said company saw the sponsorship - which involves the company donating its printing services to Zig Zag for the
ball and for the rest of the year - as an ideal way to help Queensland children in need.
"Helping a local charity is just part of being a valuable member of the community," he said. The ball's theme this year is 'A Night of Exotic Delight'. Tickets cost $185 per person, and include dinner, drinks and a goodie bag. To book your tickets or to make a donation visit www.zigzagfoundation.org.
