How our in-Centre Graphic Designers work

Frequently Asked Graphic Design Questions

Portable Document Format (PDF) is the industry standard for saving files in an acceptable format. When exporting your document, it is important to ensure all images and colours are in CMYK format and that there are no missing image links or fonts. Worldwide has an online artwork upload for your artwork that is too large to email. Check out our How To Guides HERE.

Bleed is the printing that extends to the edge of a sheet or page prior to trimming. Your artwork only requires bleed if it is being printed and trimmed.

Files need to be in CMYK format. Should your file be in RGB, you can still supply your file to Worldwide for our Graphic Designers to convert to a print-ready file for a small artwork charge.

Images pulled from the web are often low-resolution and do not print well, and there are also copyright procedures to follow. Worldwide graphic designers have access to stock libraries and can source a relevant image for you. Alternatively, you can supply high-resolution imagery from your own stock library.

A PDF (Portable Document Format) is a file format that is not suitable for editing, or for creating print-ready files. Industry graphic designers use an Adobe Creative Suite, such as InDesign, which is ideal for creating print-ready artwork.

An EPS (Encapsulated Post Script) file is the standard file type for logos. Logos on websites are often JPEG, GIF or PNG which is not recommended for artwork due to their low resolution. It is always best to supply your Worldwide graphic designer with EPS file/s. After all, your logo is your most important brand asset.

It is recommended that you send your artwork brief to your Worldwide graphic designer a few days prior to your deadline to ensure you have enough time for you to proof your final artwork.

Yes, however, it is not always the most cost-effective solution. Sourcing an image or planning a photoshoot is more time-efficient and will provide you with a closer or better alternative.

Yes, Worldwide can send you your files. However, you may not be able to edit the document. Our graphic designers have paid subscriptions to Adobe Creative Suite and for you to access these files you will need to have the relevant Adobe program on your computer.

Yes, Worldwide will check your document is print-ready and can liaise with your in-house Graphic Designer if anything needs amending. Check out our How To Guides HERE.

Worldwide can design all types of printed documents and web files. Printed documents we can design include brochures, booklets, packaging, brand guidelines, signs and displays, annual reports and NCR booklets. Our highly skilled graphic designers will ensure your marketing material is print-ready and has a professional look.

In addition to printed pieces, Worldwide can also design e-solutions such as social media post, email banners, remarketing banners and website collateral that match your company’s branding. Check out our Print Templates or Die Templates.

Yes, our graphic designers can follow your brand guidelines and ensure your business is represented professionally and on-brand. Worldwide will send you a proof of your artwork which can be approved by the relevant personnel within your organisation.

I cannot express enough thanks to Shaun and the team at Worldwide Print West Perth. Their incredible attention to detail, and their highly professional skills, knowledge, expertise, referral, and commitment to develop a quality product was evident throughout the whole process of service, and production. As a customer, I greatly appreciated their incredible commitment and professionalism. It was extraordinary!! The outcome - not only does my novel (book) look first class in terms of quality and standards, it is also carbon neutral. If I could allocate double or triple the 5 stars I would.
