Worldwide Online Printing Opens QLD's Largest
Digital-Only Centre
Worldwide Online Printing is determined to capitalise on the digital printing phenomenon, with the launch of a $1.5m digital-only Queensland production facility.
The high-tech new hub takes the group's investment in print technology, equipment and facilities to $4.5m this year, and is part of a plan to dramatically improve digital production and personalisation efficiencies for the 4,000 local business customers of Worldwide's 21 Queensland retail centres.
"The age of flexible, highly personalised marketing isn't just upon us. It's changing our lives forever," says Queensland Hub Manager, Peter Mingham.
"And we're delighted that this new facility gives us chance to put cutting edge digital technology within the grasp of Queensland businesses."
Worldwide CEO Mark Manderson says this latest round of investment has created the largest facility of its type in Queensland, and one of the biggest digital-only centres in the ready-to-print market in Australia.
Running advanced Xerox and Océ digital machines 24 hours a day, 6 days a week, the new hub can produce over 32,000 black-and-white and 7,000 colour sheets per hour - a potential 30 million sheets per year.
