Social Media Rules

Please read the following Social Media Rules (“Rules”) before engaging with Worldwide’s Social Media platforms. They are designed to ensure the Worldwide pages and groups remain professional, vibrant, and useful for all community members.

We encourage you to leave comments, upload photos and videos, and welcome all questions and commentary, including constructive feedback.

We encourage the expression of opinions and open discussions on the Worldwide page, keeping in mind that it is a family friendly forum, so please post relevantly and respectfully.

Worldwide reserves the right to remove any posts that don’t adhere to these Rules and to block or remove anyone who violates them.

Although we regularly moderate our pages and groups, members are encouraged to assist us by following the Rules and flagging inappropriate content. Please contact a moderator on [email protected], and inform them of any content you feel is inappropriate or that breaches these Rules. Please take a minute to read the following and keep them in mind whenever you participate.

Our platforms and pages are regularly reviewed.  Any content posted or uploaded may be removed if it:

  1. Abuses, harasses, stalks, threatens or otherwise violates the legal rights (such as rights of privacy) of any individual or organisation.
  2. Is graphic, obscene, explicit, indecent, or profane.
  3. Defames any person or any organisation.
  4. Attempts to defraud any person or organisation.
  5. Contains hateful language targeting race/ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, political or religious beliefs.
  6. Contains infringing, fraudulent, deceptive, misleading or unlawful material or suggests or encourages illegal activity.
  7. Consists of trolling or is a deliberate disruption of discussion.
  8. Violates any intellectual property rights of others. . All materials and content uploaded onto our Social Media pages must have full permission of all subjects, authors or owners of the subject and the image before uploading, or be your own work.
  9. Is an attempt to upload or attach files that contain viruses, corrupted files, or any other similar software or programs that may damage the operation of another person’s applications or computer.
  10. Advertises promotions of products and services (even when free).
  11. Advertises job vacancies or promotes recruitment campaigns.
  12. Advertises job applicant availability. You cannot post resumes/applications or self-promote one’s availability for positions.
  13. Includes recurring spam or multiple or repetitive posts copied and pasted or duplicated by single or multiple users. Spam also includes posting commercial comments in discussions when such comments have nothing to do with the discussion.
  14. Consists of click bait (embedding a link in your post to draw traffic to your own online destination) without the express permission of the page owner.
  15. Consists of anything else Worldwide deem as inappropriate.

 

By posting any content on our Social Media, engaging with our Social Media, or otherwise posting on any social media/opinion platforms contained on the worldwide web about Worldwide, you consent to Worldwide contacting the relevant social media or opinion platforms (including Google) to remove any content posted by you which Worldwide considers inappropriate. You accept that this acknowledgement is sufficient consent by you to permit Worldwide to have such content removed from the worldwide web.
